Although trained and practicing as an architect, I find the relative immediacy of creating ceramics, working with textiles and cooking both complementary and rewarding.
There is a connectivity between all aspects of my work with the house in France enshrining many of these in its essential simplicity. The interior displays my interest in colour and textiles and provides an apt setting for my hand thrown ceramics – and it’s also a place to cook from the local markets, using seasonal vegetables.
There is certainly a ‘mid-century’ feel to my ceramics and textiles – some of the latter are vintage, segwaying into retro designs and then the repeating iconic motifs of my own designs.
All the works are for sale (except the house which is for rent only!) – see details in each section.
